NSFWConfirm.com allows users to shorten, share, and track links (URL's). Shorter links are easier and safer to share via e-mail, instant messaging, social networking sites, etc.

NSFWConfirm.com links provide a confirmation page with a reason why the site may not be safe for viewing from work. The visitor can then determine if they wish to follow the link.

If you use NSFWConfirm.com, you don't have you worry about your friends saying "OMG! I opened that e-mail link at work!" or "OMG! I opened that e-mail link in front of my kids!".

Tips:

• You can place anything you want after the ID in the link by adding a backsplash and then your text. Characters such as spaces and such are not permitted in URLS. For example, http://nsfwconfirm.com/2/mild+nudity — the server will just ignore everything after the slash that follows the ID number.
• The reason you enter should be like a skirt, long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting. The words you use should be "work safe", i.e. no profanity, etc.
